I knew that Lianny + Raul were going to have such a fun elopement day from the minute I first talked with them over the phone. They wanted to have their elopement in Zion National Park, with a little hiking involved. We were worried about their being snowy conditions, which we got a little of, but it ended up being so beautiful! Raul cares so much about Lianny and just wanted her to have the best elopement day possible!

These two went to high school together, and while Raul had a big crush on Lianny, the two never dated. Until recently, when they rekindled through the magic place of Instagram DM’s! They dated shortly, Lianny moved to Texas to be with Raul and his two (ADORABLE) twin boys, and they never looked back!

We started their day by meeting at one of the visitor centers in the park - I met with Lianny, and sort of met Raul, but he was wearing a blindfold so that they could have a first look! There was a specific road they had in mind that they wanted to do their first look on, we just had to find the perfect spot! We pulled over in front of an incredible view of the red rocks, and Raul saw Lianny for the first time with the best expression!

From there, we made our way to their ceremony location which included a small hike in. We met with the officiant and made our way through the snowy trail to their ceremony spot. Their ceremony was full of laughs + tears from both of them, but above all, incredibly sweet.

We took a few photos at their ceremony spot before continuing on with their exploration of the park! Lianny really wanted a few photos of them on a road, so we did those before making our way to the opposite side of the park! Their portrait location required another hike in, but luckily this area of the park didn’t have snow, which made things a bit easier! We spent the rest of the time we had together before the sun went down taking portraits of the two of them, capping it off with a first dance during blue hour!

Lianny + Raul are two people you just know are meant to be together. I love days like theirs where the plan goes a bit to wayside and they just enjoy the park, each other and the day as much as possible, and their elopement in Zion was definitely one of those days!
