TRAVELER. PHOTOGRAPHER. HIKER. OCEAN LOVER. MOUNTAIN OBSESSED. CHOCOLATE LAB MOM. PLANT LOVER (KILLER). ADVENTUROUS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER. EXPERIENCE MAKER.
Let me tell ya something - it really means the world to me that you're here. That you've taken a few minutes to look at my work, to see who I am, and even just considered me to be a part of your day. You're getting MARRIED, and that's such a big deal.
Your love deserves to be celebrated. This love isn't something that just happened. It's something you've worked for, something you've fought for, something you've cultivated, grown through, and it's something you value so much that you've decided to vow your life to.
That story is worth being told and I want to photograph the HECK out of that.
But more than just photographing your day, I believe that you deserve experience. You deserve a relationship with your photographer that is so much more than one day of wedding coverage, but rather someone who gets to know you, understands you, whose photography and creative experience makes the two of you fall even deeper in love.
And while I hope I'm the right match for you, I also believe that its incredibly important for your to find someone whose personality and vision aligns with yours.
My heart beats fast for couples who beat to their own drum. Who live their best life, whatever that may be, because it's THEIR best life. Couples who are mindful and present about what they want, how they want to celebrate their marriage, and what things matter to them.
So what do you say? Let's chat about your best day. How we can craft something unforgettable, and something that you'll remember for the rest of your lives.
As you see at the top of this page, there are a LOT of things that set my soul on fire. I'm a passionate person, in fact my roommates in college used to say I'd fall in love with something new everyday. They weren't exactly wrong! (changed my major probably 16 times - lol)
For starters, traveling is something near and dear to my heart. I've explored 26 countries, and about the same amount of states - many of which solo. I grew up in an airline family, was on my first flight at a few weeks old, and travel quickly became something that made me feel a sense of home (it's weird, I know).
I equally love the outdoors. Mountains, oceans, sunsets, sunrises, big ol' pine tree's and secluded wilderness that makes you feel like you're the only person in the world. That's probably why I love plants so much! I love bringing an element of the outside world into my inside world - although I'm still working on my green thumb...
I'm an extroverted introvert. I used to be 120% extroverted and -50% introverted, and the further I get into my twenties, the more and more that changes. I love people, but I thrive off of alone time. I've found that a good balance keeps me at peace.
Chocolate lab mom. Oh heck yes. My little (big) Sophie is my child - not exaggerating. I BEGGED my entire life to have a dog, and finally picked up Sophie 2 years ago and I'm high-key obsessed with her. Bonus points if you send me photos of your dog in your inquiry. #notkidding
Lastly, is photography! I've had a camera in my hand through my whole life - spending my birthday money as a kid on disposable cameras until I got a little digital one for Christmas when I was 9 years old. I took photography classes through high school and college, and it finally came full circle, 'cause now I have lots of them!
